How to stop time with anti-aging skin care

The purpose of anti-aging skin care is to slow down the aging of the skin.
This concept includes not only the treatment of age-related ailments, but also detecting and preventing changes that we start to observe on the body over time.

The first area which we notice is the face. Your face speaks plenty about not only your skin care but also your lifestyle.
Lifeless skin, dark undereye circles or a visible lack of sleep mean that you lead an irregular lifestyle, filled with stress and inadequate skin care.

The use of creams and other cosmetics based on anti-aging technology and regular anti-aging treatments have an extremely positive effect on the firmness, freshness and overall condition of the skin.

What does a properly selected anti-aging treatment give us?

  • improves the appearance of the skin and makes us feel much younger
  • smoothes existing wrinkles and slows down the formation of new ones
  • evens out skin tone
  • reduces the signs of fatigue
  • restores radiance and freshness to the skin

What ingredients should you look for in Anti-Aging skincare?

  • Retinol: The role of vitamin A is to stimulate collagen production and repair sun damage.
Just a few weeks of using a cream with retinol is enough to notice changes: reduction of wrinkles, exfoliation of old layers of the epidermis, reduction of discoloration, a fresh appearance and greater cohesion of the epidermis.
Retinol is also used in the treatment of acne lesions. Because it’s phototoxic, it is best to use retinol skincare at night or to protect the skin during a rejuvenating treatment with a strong sunscreen.
  • Glycolic, salicylic, lactic and hyaluronic acids are usually used in day scrubs and creams. They stimulate the regeneration of the epidermis and support the reconstruction of collagen fibers.
  • Vitamins E and C have antioxidant and repair properties. Creams which contain these vitamins effectively improve skin density. Vitamin C provides protection against free radicals or single molecules. On top of that, it accelerates the production of collagen, which is especially important for 30-year-old and older skin, where the rate of collagen synthesis decreases with age. Vitamin C lightens discolourations and gives radiance, which is more difficult with age; when applied under the UV filter, it helps protect the skin against photoaging. It also strengthens blood vessels, which is especially important in mature skin.

Another important ingredient in Anti-Aging skincare is a fern. Fern contains jasmonic acid, known for its moisturizing, anti-wrinkle, repair and antioxidant properties.
Known for their moisturizing properties, ferns help repair skin cell damage, minimize wrinkles and improve skin elasticity and firmness.

On top of that, drink at least 2 litres of water a day!

Avoid stimulants such as alcohol and cigarettes, which negatively affect the condition of the skin, and UV rays – frequent sun exposure and regular use of a tanning bed may contribute to accelerating the aging process.
